We are an enthusiastic team with a long track record in the construction industry and a firm belief in our values: honesty, responsibility and dedication. Driven to provide outstanding service, we founded ROCA.

The partners who make up the firm have been fortunate to take part, together, in more than 500 projects throughout Mexico.

Since it was founded in 2016, ROCA has been recognized for the experience of its partners. We have now coordinated more than 30 projects for a range of clients, successfully meeting their quality, schedule and cost requirements.

Our experience spans four major sectors: commercial, industrial, offices and housing.

The experience of our partners and our people allows us to join projects from the moment the need arises, covering architectural schematic design, licenses and permits, engineering, budgeting, bidding, construction and close-out.

In consulting, we have had the opportunity to take part in a public-private partnership between the Mexico City government and our client.

Luis Manuel Roca Escoto

Managing Director

His career highlights include building the 32-story Be Grand San Ángel tower, with 265 apartments and 68,000 square meters, and the 30-story Be Grand Pedregal tower, with 72,000 square meters.

Before working independently, he was with Grupo Médica Sur, a company listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange with revenues above USD 120 million, where he coordinated the Ciudad Médica Sur project and led the design and expanded remodel of its 196-room hospital to Mayo Clinic standards.

Earlier, at Walmart de México y Centroamérica, he coordinated and delivered on time more than 196 stores, restaurants, shopping centers and distribution centers in 86 Mexican cities, totaling over 1.6 million square meters built. He also advised Walmart Brazil on projects and construction. Before Walmart, he was Director of New Projects at Grupo GIA.

He holds a degree in civil engineering from UNAM and an MBA with honors from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He also has a diploma in real estate administration and finance and is a member of the Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles de México.

His passions: family, running and music.

José Guerra Guerrero

Director of Operations

He oversees project execution, coordination, handover and close-out. Highlights include more than 20 cinema complexes and project management of a transit hub for Grupo ADO.

Before becoming a partner at ROCA, he spent twenty years as partner and Managing Director of a firm specializing in public-sector projects. Earlier, he worked for several government agencies, specializing in construction project administration and control.

He holds a civil engineering degree from the UNAM School of Engineering and has completed courses in cost engineering, environment, urban management and IDB loan management. He is a member of the School of Engineering alumni society and its Assembly of Graduating Classes.

His passions: soccer and family.

Adriana Santana Ganem

Director of Administration

She has more than 25 years of experience in finance and administration, 5 of them at construction companies.

Her career highlights include founding Asociación Profesional Arquitectónica, S.C. (services), where she served as Administrative Manager. Previously, she was a Commercial Banking Manager at Banco Bital (finance) and worked at Función y Forma Internacional, S.A. de C.V. (construction).

She holds a degree in Business Administration and Finance from Universidad Anáhuac del Sur and a diploma in Corporate Finance from ITAM, along with courses in sales, financial markets and investments, accounting, taxes and finance.

Her passions: music and family.
